Kimberly, the founder of College Your Way is no stranger to the process college students go through choosing classes and planning for transfer. She spent 15+ years at the community college level working with students on advisement and planning.

She developed several programs during her time actively involved in the advising of students. She also completed several articulation agreements between the community college and several 4-year universities. Her template is still in use, not only for the Business Department, but others in the community college.

​

It was during this time she realized the need for advising support for the non-traditional student. Those students taking evening and online course loads, often unable to get on campus for advising hours. Kimberly began doing online advising.

Kimberly has an MBA from Lindenwood University, St. Charles, Missouri and a BS in Accounting from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois. She has been teaching college courses since 1987, including traditional, online and hybrid deliveries.
